Traineeships for military veterans, first responders and their families

MEGT has partnered with Microsoft and specialist non-profits Soldier On and Fortem to offer information technology traineeships for military veterans, first responders and their families through the Career Pathways Program, a special version of the Microsoft Traineeship Program.

Host Employers have an opportunity to provide on-the-job experience for trainees as they transition to a career in the IT sector.

With Australia facing a significant shortage of IT workers, the pilot program is expected to develop up to 100 budding professionals within its’ first year.

It will give Host Employers in the IT sector an opportunity to access new and emerging talent from a diverse pool of candidates, many of whom have devoted many years of service to their country and communities.
